Her father sent me an emergency email yesterday. He's suddenly realized she will be grown soon. We've been slowly getting used to the idea of her brother being grown. Somehow, considering both together was too much, until yesterday when the inevitability of reality dawned.
Wow...that sounds so true...more true in our house, where Dad talks of them playing out in the house we'd build someday and I have to say, in five years he will be 16. It's as if time stops in that moment and he just freezes, disbelieving that it will ever end. Ahhh, love, we are more than half way through.
